'America's Worst Driver' Season Finale

Submitted by Community Manager, May 7, 2010

'America’s Worst Driver’ has found the most challenged drivers in eight U.S. cities, now it's time to declare a winner. The two-hour season finale is Saturday, May 8 at 10 p.m. E/P on the Travel Channel. As in previous episodes, the contestants will compete in a series of challenges giving them one last chance to show they’ve improved their driving. Challenges will be conducted on both a closed course and in the city as the drivers search for famous locations including Dodger Stadium, Rodeo Drive, the Chinatown Gateway, City Hall, the Orpheum Theatre and the Pacific Design Center.

AAA’s collaboration with Travel Channel as the official safety partner concludes with more safety tips from AAA’s driver training expert, Dr. William Van Tassel, also known as “Dr. Bill,” who will offer quick tips for viewers with AAA’s Rules of the Road. AAA will also offer online driver improvement courses to all contestants who participated in the show.

See highlights from last week’s episode in Dallas here. We hope you've enjoyed the series and wherever you are, please drive safely.

Thank heavens for "bad" drivers! They keep our auto body shop nice and busy. I think there's a direct connection between the popularity of texting while driving and the amount of business we get.

I'm so pleased that this show chooses to show bad younger drivers and not senior citizens. Why, if i drove the way that some of the reckless people on this show drive, I would get dropped by my insurance company A.S.A.P.

I agree with the bad drivers, they pay my bills. Here at the body shop we love bad drivers.
