SeaWorld, Busch Gardens to Open New Attractions in 2011
At SeaWorld's Discovery Cove interactive park in Orlando, visitors will be able to snorkel at Grand Reef, a tropical fish habitat filled with eels, reef sharks and other tropical fish while Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will introduce Cheetah Hunt, a roller coaster built in an animal habitat. More info

Travelers this holiday will find increased security measures aimed at thwarting terrorism including body scanners and the new Secure Flight program, which requires travelers to provide more information when booking tickets. I Can Do It All By Myself
Travelers have not only grown accustomed to using airport self-serve kiosks and now want to do more themselves, according to a new survey About 70% of the 2,500 travelers surveyed said they want automated security checks and boarding gates and two-thirds would like to tag their own bags, change flight plans by themselves and claim delayed baggage without having to work with airline personnel. Its awesome to read that tourism to the gulf is recovering! The USA Today story is worth the read.

All's well on the southern Texas gulf coast. I spent last week in and around South Padre Island eating seafood, seafood, seafood. The change in seasons has the live fish biting in Port Isabel. Great time to visit the Texas gulf.
