Do you have any recommendations on the day trip tours offered from Las Vegas through Death Valley? Since my mother is disabled I'm looking for one where you get to see the most of the park with minimal walking, we would also prefer a  smaller bus with fewer steps.
We suggest you look into Viator’s day trip from Las Vegas. As it is usually a small group, a van is usually used. The stop at Scotty’s Castle could involve some walking, though there is the option to sit as well. The park sights are mostly viewed from the van with disembarking for photo opportunities at the discretion of the traveler. We will be going to Las Vegas and want to also do the Grand Canyon. Should we get hotels in the Grand Canyon area or is it a day trip from Vegas? Any must see's would be appreciated.
The Grand Canyon is located about 250 miles from Las Vegas, taking highway 93 south from Las Vegas to Interstate 40 east to highway 64 to the South Rim. The trip takes about 4 1/2 hours and takes you right over the Hoover Dam. It depends on what you consider a day trip and what you wish to do while you're there. Do you simply want to see it and take pictures? Do you want to hike or possibly ride a mule into the canyon? There are also numerous bus and helicopter tours from Las Vegas if you don't wish to drive.

It’s a hugely popular destination, especially in the summer months but plan accordingly if you do go then for crowds and traffic. I need information on quality hotels at a reasonable price near Sea World, Hill Country, Highway 151 in San Antonio. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions?
