An online version of the
Digest of Motor Laws has been launched to replace the printed publication of the same name.
A free feature of the
AAA Exchange Public Affairs website, the guide summarizes laws and regulations governing operation of passenger vehicles in the U.S., its territories and Canada. As with its printed predecessor, the publication is managed by AAA Government Relations and Traffic Safety Advocacy.
“In its 77 years, the Digest of Motor Laws has grown to become perhaps the most comprehensive and accessible source of information on laws related to driving,” said State Relations Director Justin McNaull. “The new online format will allow much greater access to AAA’s broad repository of information and achieve substantial cost savings for the association.”
The online version also will improve the user experience by allowing information to be updated as laws take effect and enabling filter and search features not possible in the printed format, he added.
